NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the B1145 The Street from its junction with Bradfield Road for 400m southwards in the PARISH OF SWAFIELD because of safety reasons whilst engineer works on overhead structure.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 09:00 and 15:00 from 20th to 21st September 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: B1145 The Street. A149 North Walsham Bypass/Yarmouth Road/Norwich Road/Wayford Road, B1159 Stepping Stone Lane/Stalham Road/Coast Road/Walcott Road/Church Road/Beach Road/Paston Road/Bacton Road/Mundesley Road/Stow Hill/Water Lane/Knapton Road/North Walsham Road/The Street (Dilham, Worstead, Walcott, Bacton, Smallburgh, Brumstead, Swafield, Paston, Knapton, Stalham, Mundesley, East Ruston, North Walsham).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
